  • Description

This film was produced using participatory video techniques during the Nike sponsored 'Gender Equity in Sport for Social Change' conference which took place in Casablanca in May 2007.

Most of the conference delegates took part in 'La Course Feminine' which saw 24,000 women run a 10 km course through the streets of Casablanca. The event was documented by 12 conference attendees who took part in a 4 day Insight Introduction to Participatory video training. With the help of Insight facilitators they also visited the local associations Initiative Urbaine and L'Heure Joyeuse to use PV as a means for local participants to explore the issue of gender equity in sport in Morroco.
