Gareth has worked as a Participatory Video facilitator for over nine years working with communities across Africa, Asia, the South Pacific and the UK. Gareth is Director of Programmes for InsightShare with responsibility for running various international programmes across numerous themes and countries.

Before joining InsightShare, Gareth worked as an independent Participatory Video facilitator and as a filmmaker on campaign and advocacy films for various NGOs and social organisations. Gareth managed the OneWorldTV project - a pioneering online social documentary platform screening videos on a range of global justice issues – before which he worked as a Participatory Video facilitator for ActionAid India, for ActionAid UK as a member of the Internal Communications unit and as a writer for the Community Channel website.
